Importance of Mental Health for Students
According to the WHO's definition of good health, a healthy body is one which is fit physically, mentally and socially. Mental health is an element of this definition which also affects a person's social health to some extent. Mental health includes our social well-being and emotional and psychological needs. It also determines how we feel, think, handle stress and make decisions. Ironically, this is one of those subjects which did not get a lot of attention until now. This has led to ignorance of children's mental health for decades due to which they suffer at school and find it difficult to socialize with others. If students start to experience mental health experiences from an early age then there are chances that the condition can aggravate and cause problems.
